This year she's focusing on fundraising.  Fundraising with your board, board members, and the big boss, your CEO.

Simone will explore “why,” not just “what” and “how.” You’ll leave with specific things to do, a very good handout, and lots of thoughts about how to make things better.

Bring your board members with you.  Bring the big boss, too.

Together, we’ll start with a quick, mini refresh on governance fundamentals. (Or, as I think of them, “rules of the road to avoid mediocrity.”) If you attended my masterclass last year, you can help lead this!

Most of the time, we’ll explore the following topics – and other things you think of:

• Building a board for money, connections, money and…
• Making sure the big boss knows the right fundraising stuff and then leaves you alone!
• Controlling the fund development committee
• Engaging board members and the board and boss appropriately – and keeping them away from the inappropriate
• Training them because they do benefit from training
• Looking in the mirror and improving your enabling skills
