Moderated by Mary Beth Taylor, a panel of experts from the Indigenous and non Indigenous communities will examine the role of the charitable sector in reconciliation including the analysis of the Truth and Reconciliation recommendations and how they can be aligned with Canadian philanthropic principles and policies.

Mary Beth Taylor, CFRE, has over 20 years of experience in the charitable sector. A proud graduate of the University of Manitoba, she spent eight years on their alumni & development team. Mary Beth obtained her CFRE in 2003 and has taught numerous fundraising courses with topics ranging from the History of Philanthropy to Campaign Planning. She has also volunteered with AFP, CAGP, AMREF Canada, WWF-Canada, The Company Theatre, Best Buddies, HYTES, and her local community centre. Mary Beth has worked on a number of capital campaigns in Manitoba and Southern Ontario, whose combined campaign goals were $1.5 Billion.
