Mary Beth Taylor, CFRE, has over 20 years of experience in the charitable sector. A proud graduate of the University of Manitoba, she spent eight years on their alumni & development team. Mary Beth obtained her CFRE in 2003 and has taught numerous fundraising courses with topics ranging from the History of Philanthropy to Campaign Planning. She has also volunteered with AFP, CAGP, AMREF Canada, WWF-Canada, The Company Theatre, Best Buddies, HYTES, and her local community centre.Mary Beth has worked on a number of capital campaigns in Manitoba and Southern Ontario, whose combined campaign goals were $1.5 Billion. She has local, national and international fundraising experience and has worked at the U of M, McMaster, U of T, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Women’s College Hospital, and World Wildlife Fund as their national director of development. She’s a seasoned campaign director (annual, special and capital) and Planned Giving leader whose creativity and ingenuity has led to programs that attract increasingly diverse and younger donors. Her work on the Student & Recent Alumni program at the University of Manitoba earned her a Gold CASE District VIII award for creativity. At WWF, she was selected to mentor staff in Australia, Russia and Denmark on the Canadian structure of Planned Giving and Major Gift fundraising. After moving back to Winnipeg, Mary Beth launched The Creaddo Group and has spent time in health care, social services and the cultural community providing campaign counsel.Mary Beth is thrilled to be part of The Creaddo Group and counts her son, Daniel, as her inspiration to devote her professional life to non-profit organizations.
